The ‘PokerStars LIVE Macau’ poker room is hosting the 2nd annual Asia Championship of Poker (ACOP) in Macau from October 18 to November 3, 2013.

As the Asia Pacific Poker Tour’s (APPT) flagship event, the 17-day series has attracted some of poker ‘s biggest names from the east and west.

Seven Team PokerStars members have already confirmed their attendance in Bertrand ‘ElkY’ Grospellier, Celina Lin, Vivian Im, Raymond Wu, Bryan Huang, Naoya Kihara, and Randy ‘nanonoko’ Lew — who won APPT Macau Season 5.

Also in attendance will be this year’s Macau Poker Cup winners Yoshitaka Okawa, Terry Fan, and Tom Alner; APPT Season 7 champions Alexandre Chieng (Macau), Aaron Lim (Seoul), Jae Kyung Sim (Cebu), and Billy “The Croc” Argyros (Melbourne); and, 2012 Asia Player of the Year Yosuke Sekiya.

Other notables include 2-time World Champion Johnny Chan, 2006 Aussie Millions winner Lee Nelson, and Full Tilt Poker ambassador Jonathan Karamalikis — who won the biggest tournament of his career (HKD $3.7 million) at last year’s ACOP High Roller event.
