Level 8: 10,000/20,000 blinds, 3,000 ante
6:25 p.m.: Players are on their second 10-minute break of the day.
6:20 p.m.: Team PokerStars Pro Vivian Im found herself at-risk. She moved all-in for 264,000 from middle position and John Tech called from the button.
The blinds folded and Im showed Qâ™ Q♥ to Tech’s 9â™ 9♦ . The board ran A♦ 2♣ 8♣ 2â™ 10♦ and the ladies held up for the ladies.
Im’s now back above average with about 550,000.
6:10 p.m.:“I was 39th last time, now I get 40th,” the very talkative and charismatic Haifeng Xue said.
Xue was short stacked and made his final move with K♦ 7♦ and Xiaoyun Zhou called with A♠Q♠. The board ran 6♠2♠3♦ 10♦ 4♥ and Xue hit the rail in 40th, earning HKD $15,500.
Zhou chipped up to 925,000 and appears to be second in chips. Ruan Zhaojun held on to his lead with 1.065 million.

5:50 p.m.: Rundulf Martin Gonzales won a few large pots and chipped up to 975,000. Gonzales took the lead but several players are close behind.
5:45 p.m.: Xiayun Zhou dropped out of the lead and Ruan Zhaojun took his spot.
Zhaojun raised to 34,000 from middle position and Junyeob Song called from the big blind. The flop came 6♥ 5♦ 4♥ and Song checked. Zhaojun looked at Song’s stack, then grabbed a pile of oranges and put them in.
Song called all-in and showed a set of sixes with 6♠6♣ . Zhaojun sighed and showed 7♠7♦ . His mood quickly changed when the river brought a 7♥ to give him the bigger set.
Song was out while Zhaojun chipped up to about 900,000.
5:30 p.m.: The quest for Macau Millions glory ended for the following players this past level:

5:20 p.m.: Only 48 players remain. One of the most recent eliminations was Team PokerStars Pro Bryan Huang, who hit the rail in 50th.
This leaves Vivian Im as the last Team PokerStars Pro standing. Im is still above average with about 450,000.
5:10 p.m.: It won’t be long before the first player crosses the 1 million chip mark. Terry Fan won’t be one of them though as he was eliminated in the last half of level 6.
One player who might break it is Xiayun Zhou.
Hao Tian raised to 26,000 from under-the-gun and Zhou called from Tian’s left. The flop came 2♦ A♣ 6♣ and Tian bet 25,000. Zhou called and the turn brought a K♣ . Tian slowed to a check and then folded when Zhou bet 40,000.
After that pot, Zhou is up to about 920,000.
5:00 p.m.: They continue to drop. The level 5 casualties include:

4:50 p.m.: More large are starting to emerge. Kevin Petersen still appears to be in the lead with 660,000 but Hongbing Li — who’s seated at Petersen’s table — is close behind with 625,000.
Riha Jan is still steady at about 580,000.
4:45 p.m.: Chips are hard to hold on to and Team PokerStars Pro Vivian Im has slid out of the lead. Im is now down to 435,000 while Kevin Petersen took over with about 725,000.
Petersen and Tollefsen were on the river of a 2♦ 8♠A♥ J♦ 4♣ board and there was about 300,000 in the pot.
Players got their chips in the middle and Tollefsen mucked when Petersen turned over A♦ 4♦ . Players were close in chips and the floor counted out Petersen’s stack, 214,500. It was more than Tollefsen’s stack and the Norwegian player hit the rail in 63rd place.
Petersen on the other hand took the lead.
Riha Jan appears to be in second with 590,000.
4:30 p.m.: The floor has paused the clock to color up the pretty, yet undervalued purple chips. Antes are now 1,000, so the purple chips — worth 500 — are just taking up space.
