A 31-year-old poker professional from Harbin, China, Zhou is the most experienced player at the final table and is currently sitting second in chips behind the second biggest winner – Alvan Zheng. Zhou boasts an impressive US$460,000 in career tournament winnings and is currently 20th on the China All Time Money List. Specialising in High Roller events Zhou’s best career result to date is winning the 2014 APPT Seoul High Roller, although he made nearly twice as much for finishing second in the 2014 APPT Macau High Roller. Easily one of the favourites to take the title.

Seat 2: Guancheng Wu, 36 (Shenzhen, China) – 1,580,000

Guancheng Wu is a 36-year-old freelancer from Shenzhen who has been playing poker for 18 months. However, his prior form is rather good and his three previous cashes have all been final tables and he has yet to finish a poker tournament he has cashed in outside of the top three spots. Wu has won over US$40,000 in his short time playing and his biggest wish is that his friends stop calling him “the prince of side events.” A victory here will certainly put a stop to that.

Seat 3: Jason Lo, 26 (Hong Kong, China) – 3,570,000

A familiar face to many here at Pokerstars LIVE Macau, when not playing at the felt the Hong Kong native is a keen soccer player. Jason has been playing poker for three years and already boasts some stellar results. With six final tables on his poker resume including the 2014 ACOP Warm Up title Lo finds himself in familiar territory. Currently 18th on the Hong Kong All Time Money List with over US$185,652 in career earnings the young professional will be looking to make his mark on the tournament when play resumes.

Seat 4: Howard Ka Ho Sun, 32 (Hong Kong, China) – 1,675,000

Howard Ka Ho Sun is the second of three Hong Kong nationals to make the final table here at the 2016 Macau Millions. The 32-year-old bank worker will be used to handling large sums of other people’s money, a fact that can only stand him in good stead at the felt. With six previous cashes – all in Macau – including two final tables, his deep run here will be a career defining score.

Seat 5: Boon Heng Siong, 32 (Singapore) – 2,040,000

A 32-year-old IT worker from Singapore, Siong has been playing poker for five years. This is his second final table this poker series, the first coming in Event #1 – the HK$2,000 NLHE Warm Up where he finished 7th for HK$38,900 (~US$5,000).

Seat 6: Tony Cheng, 38 (Hong Kong, China) – 1,055,000

If you were going to pick a winner based on current form then it would be Tony Cheng who is currently running red hot. While he may be coming in as the shortest stack the Hong Kong national is seeking his second major title in as many years. Cheng won APPT Macau last year and, as recently as last week, won the Macau Millions HK$20k NLHE side event.

Seat 7: Chun Liang Pan, (Chinese Taipei) – 2,115,000

A 38-year-old freelancer from Chinese Taipei, Chun Liang Pan has been playing poker for six years. Pan’s best result to date is winning the 2014 Macau Poker Cup HK$3,000 Six Max and he has just over US$20,000 in tournament winnings. In addition to tournaments Pan is a keen cash game player whose hobby outside of poker is watching movies.

Seat 8: Alvan Zheng, 27 (Guangzhou, China) – 4,515,000

Hailing from Guangzhou, China, the 27-year-old quantity surveyor is a self-confessed “beast” – we are assuming he means at poker as oppose to anything else. Zheng’s poker resume speaks for itself and he is currently 22nd on the China All Time Money List with over US$447,000 in career earnings and has cashed at the APPT, WSOP and Aussie Millions. Zheng’s previous career best from a monetary perspective is a third place finish in the 2013 ACOP Main Event, although he also won the 2013 NLHE HK$20k Macau Poker Cup event.

Seat 9: Tatiana Barausova, 32 (St Petersburg, Russia) – 2,445,000

The only female player at the final table 32-year-old Tatiana Barausova has been playing poker for seven years and boasts over US$100,000 in tournament winnings. It appears poker runs in the Barausova family with the St Petersburg native having a brother who is also a professional player. Barausova has previously cashed in the PCA, the WSOP Main Event and at the EPT Prague but this final table is the deepest run of her poker career so far.
