Announcing Brazilian Series of Poker Online, April 3-6
Over recent weeks the entire world has suddenly faced an unprecedented crisis. Among its wide-ranging consequences has been the postponement of many events and activities, including live poker tournament series. The Brazilian Series of Poker has been affected as well, with two live events — BSOP São Paulo and BSOP Rio de Janeiro — having had to be postponed thus far.
Such unique circumstances require creative solutions, and the BSOP has done just that, today announcing the first-ever BSOP ONLINE series set to take place April 3-6.
Even better… for those who have never played a BSOP event before, this might be your chance to do so. The BSOP Online series will be open to everyone on the global PokerStars site.
This first BSOP ONLINE series will consist of 11 events and feature players from around the world competing for $605,000 in guaranteed prize pools.
The series highlight will be the $215 buy-in Main Event on Sunday, April 5 that will feature a $200,000 guaranteed prize pool. And as would have been the case at a live BSOP series, the champion will also be receiving a BSOP bracelet.
The schedule also includes a High Roller event as well as Pot-Limit Omaha and Turbo Knockout events.
Also, leading up to the start of the BSOP Online series and after it begins are more than 140 satellites with buy-ins starting at $1.10.Â
For every one of the 11 events there will be special MEGA, DEADLINE, and LAST CHANCE satellites starting about four hours before the target event.Â

To find the tournaments, click the “Tourney” tab in the PokerStars client and type “BSOP” in the search filter to find the “BSOP Online Event” tournaments. For each one (over on the right) you’ll see as well a place to see all of the satellites available for each event, from eight or nine all of the way to 15 or 24 for some of them.
