This just in to PokerStars Blog Headquarters: the European Poker Tour will be back for an eighth season.
Moments ago, the EPT unveiled the first half of its Season 8 schedule. It kicks off a couple of months from now in Tallinn, Estonia on August 2 with a €4,000 + 250 main event. When that’s finished, the EPT schedule is promising stops in Barcelona, London, San Remo, Prague, and the Bahamas.

One other thing to put in your diary, EPT Deauville has been set at January 31 to February 6.
As always, players will be able to win their EPT seats on PokerStars. Online satellites are scheduled to run for as little as €5.45 or 100 Frequent Player Points.
In Season 7, the EPT saw nearly 9,000 entries from 86 different countries. In all, they played for more than €50 million. Now it’s it time to see how Season 8 shapes up. Stay tuned for more details on the second half of the schedule, including the location of the Season 8 EPT Grand Final.
