The PokerStars Women lineup of tournaments is something special for the female players on PokerStars. It gives them the chance to compete with other women for reasonable buy-ins and guarantees that provide even more incentive to play.

The players are an integral part of the makeup of the PokerStars Women offerings. When you respond with suggestions and desires for tournaments, the staff listens. Due to an overwhelming number of emails and comments, the tournament schedule has been revised.

Most changes will be implemented on June 23.

First, the $55 Women’s Sunday continues to be a strong event every week. Since players have consistently shown that they appreciate the tournament, the guarantee has been upped from $10K to $11K. This change was implemented last Sunday, and the $11K guarantee is now in effect going forward. The $50 bounties on Team Pros will continue as usual.

Next up is the Women’s Tuesday, which takes place each week. The time has been moved up, and players will now have the chance to get into the tournament with a rebuy and an add-on after the original $11 buy-in. The $1K guarantee will stay in place.

Women’s Tuesday: $11 NLHE (1R1A) – Tuesdays at 13:45 ET ($1K GTD)

The Women’s Daily and Nightly Special events will continue as well, with new times attached and lower buy-ins.

Women’s Daily Special: $4.40 NLHE – Daily 6:30 ET ($150 GTD)

Women’s Daily Special: $8.80 NLHE – Daily 14:30 ET ($500 GTD)

Women’s Nightly Special: $5.50 NLHE (2x Chance) – Daily 20:30 ET ($250 GTD)

Note that the Six-Max NLHE formats have been changed to regular full tables due to an overwhelming response from women.

What do you think? We’d love to hear your comments, either on our PokerStars Women Facebook page or via our Twitter account .
