Here’s where you’ll find the latest highlights and PokerStars results, including the Sunday Majors and High Roller Club.
Christopher “ImDaNuts” Oliver won this weekend’s $1,050 Sunday Cooldown. Oliver is an OG (original grinder) who was once ranked the top player in the world. He has more titles than we can list here, and is still Costa-Rica’s finest. Oliver earned $7,198 for first in the Cooldown, boosting his score with an incredible $16,718 in bounties for a total of $23,916.
In the Sunday HR, “Kraskata85” of Bulgaria and “JoseGuti” of Sweden made a near-even split heads-up – both are experienced players, so a deal here made a lot of sense. JoseGuti took slightly more from the chop, walking away with $26,349 for second place. Kraskata85 came first for $25,690.
“krendipont” of Germany took down the $1,050 Sunday Supersonic for $18,570. In second place came tchipa117″, an Algerian player who has been quickly rising up the ranks, and who made a decent run at the WCOOP 2021 leaderboards.
In the Sunday Million, “KKgustavokk” of Brazil earned the payout of a lifetime, $109,296 for first. “shrekpoker91” of Ukraine came second for $79,316 – easily the biggest career scores for both players.
Also running into Day 2 was the Bounty Builder HR. “A. Wesker999” took it down for a total of $67,259 ($35k coming from bounties).
