EPTJust 37 players from the initial 79 return today for day two of the wallet-melting €25,000 high roller event. Daniel Alaei leads the way ahead of PokerStars ShootingStar Florian Langmann, and with Johannes Strassmann and George Danzer still in the main event, the German PokerStars players are proving to be among the most resilient in Monte Carlo.

Also still in the €25,000 event is the winner of the Pokerstars Caribbean Adventure high roller event, Team PokerStars Pro Betrand ‘ElkY’ Grospieller who lies in third position, while fellow team-mates William Thorson, Vanessa Rousso, Barry Greenstein and Alexandre Gomes are all also still in the hunt. The plan for today is to play down to the money which will coincidentally also be on the final table with eight players getting paid.
