Feldman quickly turned over 9♣ 8♣ for the nut straight having outdrawn the WSOP champion’s 8♥ 5♦ on the crucial river card to win himself the pot and leave the Dane with only about eight big blinds left.
After the hand, one of the other players told Feldman that he should not have celebrated while the action was still going on, since it could influence the betting.
“Give me a penalty then,” said Feldman. “It was only 6,000 into a pot of 100,000.”
Michael Binger said of what happened: “It’s really inappropriate,” while Mark Teltscher added: “There’s nothing to discuss now, it’s over.”
Feldman then did apologise to Eastgate saying: “I’m sorry, it wasn’t right.”
At the other end of the room, Team PokerStars Pro Betrand ‘ElkY’ Grospieller has managed another double up, this time through Ilari ‘Ziigmund’ Sahamies. They saw a 7♥ 4♥ 8♥ flop where all the money went in, Sahamies holding tens but Elky had flopped a set with 7♣ 7♠ which stayed good on the J♦ turn and 2♠ river. As a result Elky is on around 220,000 while Sahamies drops to 77,000.

After dropping down to just 6,000 with the blinds at 600/1,200, Peter Eastgate managed to quickly turn it into 95,000 in no time at all. He won two all-ins with K-T against Q-8 and then K-J against 6-6, before then winning a third big pot with aces against Q-J on a K-J-3-T board after the river was a blank.
But aces were to prove his undoing, when after Dave Ulliot raised to 4,000 and Michael Binger made it 14,000, Eastgate decided to just flat call with the bullets. Ulliot folded. Binger checked the Q♠ 4♠ 9♠ to the WSOP champion who moved all-in only to find Binger quickly calling with Q♣ Q♥ , the 5♠ offered some split pot possibilities, but the river K♣ meant the Dane’s roller-coaster of day was over.
