It’s a hectic final day here in Deauville. Not only will the final tables of the EPT Main Event and the High Roller be completed but there are a total of seven(!) other events being played today. Four events have begun at 12pm, three of them the restarts from last night and the fourth is the €5k Turbo 6-Max which has just gotten underway with 17 players so far including Team PokerStars Pros Eugene Katchalov and Bertrand “ElkY” Grospellier, former EPT Berlin champion Kevin MacPhee, €2k FPS High Roller winner Vladimir Troyanovoskiy, European Rookie of the Year Adrian Mateos, former PCA champion Dimitar Danchev and the always entertaining Artem Litvinov.

In the €1,500 restart, there are currently 37 players left out of the initial 111 who entered. Still in this field are Konstantin Puchkov, Eddy Maksoud, Joseph El Khoury and €1k Turbo winner Paul Hoefer. There’s €41,150 for the winner and a minimum for €2,720 for anyone who finishes 15th or better.

In the Grasel Sweets EPT Superstack, there are still 46 players in the tournament with €7,570 for whoever manages to finish on top. They’re still a little way from the money in this tournament, 27 places are getting paid a minimum of €350. There’s also more free chocolate available in this tournament than any of others. Tarek Bouchama,who finished second in the €1k 6-Max earlier this week, and Timothee Colcher, who came second in the €500 + €500 Bounty event, are among those still in this field.

There are just 12 left in the €800 Deepstack event which is still led by Philippe Le Touche with Ilan Boujenah and Daniel Lannermark also still involved. First prize is worth €21,000 with all remaining players already guaranteed to take home a minimum of €1,580.

Later on today, there are three more tournaments getting underway starting at 1pm with the €300 Turbo version of the EPT Main Event – levels being 15 minutes rather than 75 or 90. At 4pm, there is a €2k Turbo 6-Max event and the last event of the festival is the €100 Hyper Turbo – levels lasting just ten minutes there.
