3.05pm: End of the level
No break though, the players will play one more level before they get a 15 minute recess. — NW

3pm: Sointula takes a slice from Barbero
Team PokerStars Pro Nacho Barbero was already the shortest stack before losing the following pot to Jani Sointula. The Team PokerStars Pro made it 35,000 from under the gun and Sointula looked him up from the big blind. The flop fell 6A9 and it checked through. The turn was the J and Barbero called a bet of 42,000. The river was the 3 and Sointula bet 85,000. Barbero winced but eventually made the call. Sointual showed A10, Barbero flashing the A as he mucked he’s now down to around 240,000. — NW

2.40pm:Andrew Robl versus Vanessa Selbst
The two of them have played two all-in pots in the last 30 minutes, one before Fabian Quoss’s exit and one directly after, both time Robl has doubled through the Team PokerStars pro.

Hand One: Selbst raised to 37,000 from under the gun, Robl moved in for his last 156,000 and Selbst made the call. Robl’s 55 stayed in front of Selbst’s K10.

Hand Two: It folded to Selbst in the small blind and after asking for a count of Robl’s stack (375,000) moved all-in. “I think I’m going to call,” said Robl, eyeing up how many chips the second shortest stack (Nacho Barbero) had before making the call.

Robl: AJ
Selbst: A10

The board ran out KJ445. Selbst slipes to 1,550,000. — NW

2.35pm: It’s a sick game – Fabian Quoss busts in 5th (£107,000)
From the button Team PoekrStars pro Vanessa Selbst raised to 35,000, from the big blind Fabain Quoss who had around 500,000 total had a long dwell up of perhaps three minutes before raising to 88,000. Selbst thought for maybe 10 seconds before announcing all-in, Quoss made a quick call.

Selbst: A2
Quoss: JJ

The board ran out 8A532 to send Quoss to the rail in fifth for a cash of £107,000. Selbst has around 1,900,000. — NW

2.25pm: Matt Marafioti’s exit hand
He got the last of his chips in with A8 but Vanessa Selbst found pocket nines and they held. — NW

2.15pm: Matt Marafioti out in sixth (£76,500)
Despite an early double up Marafioti has been in short stack territory the entire final table and is now out. — NW

2.05pm: Pro on Pro action
The two remaining Team PokerStars Pros Nach Barbero and Vanessa Selbst are sat in adjacent seats. They haven’t clashed too much so far today but they just played a blind versus blind pot that reached the river. Barbero just completed from the small blind and Selbst checked her option. Both players checked the 879 flop to see the Q fall on the turn. Barbero bet 20,000 and Selbst called. The river was the K and a 45,000 bet from Barbero was enough to win the pot. — NW

2pm: Play resumes
The final six are back in their seats and it’s the big stacks that tangle first with Vanessa Selbst successfully three-betting Jani Sointula pre-flop for a small pot. Check out the full chip counts here. — RD

1.48pm: Break
It’s our first 15-minute break of the day.

1.44pm: Shoving range
Matt Marifioti shoved for 100,000 from the cut-off and showed AJ when no-one called. “That’s my cut-off raising range,” said Marafioti to anyone that was listening. — RD

1.40pm: Straight on board
Fabian Quoss got the action started by raising to 25,000 from under the gun +1 and picked up a caller in the shape of Team PokerStars pro Vanessa Selbst who was in the small blind. The flop was 253 and Selbst check-called a bet of 37,000. On the 4 turn Selbst led for 88,000 and Quoss made the call. The river was the A putting a straight on board. Selbst led for 169,000 and Quoss then moved all-in for about 225,000 more. After getting a count Selbst made the call.

Quoss: 68
Selbst: 66

1.35pm: Jani Sointula wins another big pot
The Finnish player is now the new chip leader after winning a sizeable pot against Andrew Robl. Those two along with Fabian Quoss and Nacho Barbero saw a flop of 4K4, everyone checked. On the Q turn Sointula (SB) and Barbero (BB) checked to Robl who bet 75,000. Quoss folded and then Sointula made it 165,000 total. Barbero folded, but Robl made the call. The river was the 3 and Sointula bet 250,000. Robl puffed out his cheeks and said: “That’s a big bet, but I have a king. This is such and easy call, but I guess I don’t think you’re bluffing.” After about a three minute dwell Robl did indeed make the call, Sointula showed 44 for flopped quads. Barbero and Matt Marafioti then started discussing the hand with Marafioti saying: With Jani’s small blind calling range the only hands he can have are pocket fours and maybe king-queen.” After the hand Sointual has 1,160,000, Robl has slipped to 370,000. — NW

1.20pm:Selbst calming down
Vanessa Selbst was looking quite irritated (I wouldn’t go as far as saying tilted) after losing that huge pot to Jani Sointula. In the hands following she made several raises and on the whole came out on top. She’s looking settled again. Had she won that pot she would have been so far ahead of the rest of the field. — RD

1.08pm: William Molson eliminated in seventh (£61,200)
Will Molson shoved under the gun for his last 78,000 and Nacho Barbero moved all-in from the button to take the action heads up. Matt Marafioti tank folded. Molson was looking good with 55 against Barbero’s A8 especially when Marafioti revealed he passed an ace. Unfortunately the board ran out 2QQJA and Molson depoarted in seventh for £61,200. — RD

1.05pm: Jani Sointula doubles through Vanessa Selbst
The Finn is on a bit of a charge at the moment. He opened to 27,000 from under the gun +1 and picked up two callers Vanessa Selbst from the cut-off and Andrew Robl from the big blind. The flop fell 5QA, it checked to Selbst who bet 45,000. Robl folded, but Sointula then moved all-in for 297,000 total. Selbst asked the dealer to drag in the 45,000 and then pondered her move. ‘I could be in serious trouble, but I could also be in good shape I guess,’ she said. Before announcing, ‘Ok I call, let’s gamble.’

Sointula: AJ
Selbst: J10

The turn and river of 3J kept Sointula in front, he now has 650,000, Selbst slips to 1,040,00 but still has the chip lead. Check out the chip count page as we’ve just updated the counts. — NW

12.55pm: Pierre Neuville’s exit hand
Down to just 64,000 Pierre Neuville moved all-in under the gun, from middle position Jani Sointula moved all-in over the top, everyone else left them to it.

Neuville: 99
Sointula: QQ

The board of 6A735 sent Neuville to the rail, Will Molson said that he’d folded pocket fives. — NW

12.45pm: Pierre Neuville out in 8th (£45,900)
Details to come.

LEVEL UP: BLINDS 6,000-12,000, ANTE 1,000

12.42pm: Big pot brewing
Vanessa Selbst has stamped her authority down on this final table beating down Andrew Robl in a pot that felt like it could go huge. Robl opened for 26,000 and was called by Selbst in the big blind who check-called 40,000 on a 824 flop. Robl fired another 100,000 on the 3 turn and Slebst check-raised to 305,000. Robl thought long and hard before passing. “I think you had a big hand there,” said Selbst. “I think you had an over pair,” she added. Does that mean that she wanted action or was out playing her fellow American? Your call. Selbst strecthes her chip lead to nearly 1,400,000. — RD

12.35pm: Matt Marafioti doubles up
With three short stacks to her immediate left, chip leader Vanessa Selbst has been exerting maximum pressure whenever it has folded to her. She’d moved all-in the previous hand and got no callers, this time she moved in from the cut-off and Marafioti made a quick call from the button, everyone else folded.

Selbst: 88
Marafioti: AQ

Flop: J910

“Interesting,” said Selbst

Turn: K

“Nutty,” remarked Marafioti.

River: 3

Marafioti had 66,000 to start the hand so a mere scratch on Selbst’s stack which is still around 1,250,000. — NW

12.26pm: ICM is confusing
Nacho Barbero raised and when the action passed to Will Molson he looked like he might play but he opted to pass. “ICM’s a bitch,” said Vanessa Selbst with a smile. Molson claimed that he didn’t really understand ICM that well but one look at the jumps in payouts is enough to tell you that busting lightly with other short stacks around is a bit of a mistake.

Barbero was called by Andrew Robl on the button but a c-bet on a Q84 flop was enough to take the pot. — RD

12.20pm: Testy stuff
Things have not started with a bang here. Barbero raised and took one down with Fabian Quoss passing the big blind. Andrew Robl was given a walk despite some serious head scratching from Pierre Neuville on the button who settled on passing. — RD

12.15pm: First pot goes to Selbst
As the title suggests, the first pot of the final table has gone to Team PokerStars Pro Vanessa Selbst. From the hi-jack Jani Sointula raised to 22,000, Selbst three-bet to 58,000 total from the button and Sointula made the call. The flop fell A33 and Sointula check-folded to Selbst’s continutaiton bet, she showed the A saying, ‘I was calling all-in pre-flop, I had a nice hand.’ — NW
