Welcome back for day two of the EPT London event here in, well, London. It’s Sunday, a day traditionally given over to slow starts, aspirin, television and a roast dinner before a miserable evening spent dreading work on Monday. Well we may not be able to change any of that but why not tag along for a day of F5 and awe. We can’t promise anything but in six levels time the chip counts will be correct and somebody somewhere will probably want a drink.

When the smoke cleared/ the dust settled the sun set we finished last night a combined 318 players had bagged and tagged chips over the two day ones, none more content than Nikolai Senninger. The German packed 323,100 into a plastic bag at the close all thanks to a massive pot during the last four hands of the day, snatching the lead from Jeff Lisandro.

Whether or not they stay in that position will be determined today, but with the field now united like lost twins the stakes will go up as the numbers go down. Like this kind of word nonsense? They’ll be more of that too. Cards are in the air. Here we go.
