The €5,000 Turbo 6-Handed is down to just 7 players with Andrey Shatilov, Shannon Shorr, Stephen Chidwick, Oleksii Khoroshenin and Benjamin Pollak involved. There were a total of 73 players in this event creating a prize pool of €354,050. The winner is going to take home €97,400 and all remaining players are in the money and will receive at least €8,825.

Most of those who have busted the €5,000 event have immediately jumped into the €2,000 Turbo 6-Handed and the field has gotten big fairly rapidly. Those now in this event include Benny Spindler, Konstantin Puchkov, Steven van Zadelhoff, David Vamplew, Kitty Kuo, Timothy Adams, Michele Dattani, Vladimir Troyanovskiy Joao Barbosa, Max Silver, Steve O’Dwyer, Fabian Quoss, Anton Wigg and Yann Dion.
In the first ever €200 Malta Megastack, there are just 9 players left. American Pro Elena Stover, who recently moved to Malta, is one of those left in hoping to claim the €12,100 first prize.

Christin Maschmann, who works for PokerStars and came third in the €200 Limit Hold’em and Rikard Aberg (who chopped the €1k Triple Stud last night) are part of the 170-plus field in the Turbo edition of the EPT Main Event. Other players include former Player of the Year Jan Bendik and Mateusz Moolhuizen. 178 players have created a prize pool of €51,798 with 27 places paying a minimum of €520 with €11,470 for the winner. The final event of the festival has also kicked off, event #69 – the €100 HyperTurbo. So far there are 70 runners including EPT4 Prague finalist Micke Norinder.
