Luca Pagano has now moved to table Annette, where he’s found, well, Annette Obrestad. Pagano made it 24,000 from under-the-gun and Obrestad, in the small blind, asked for a count. He had about 300,000 behind. Obrestad elected to call and they saw a flop of 3â™ 7♥ 5♣ . Both players checked and they also both checked the 8♣ turn.
On the river, which was the 8♦ , Obrestad bet 10,000, all but forcing a call from Pagano. She showed A♣ K♠and Pagano motioned to muck, but then did so face up, showing A♦ Q♦ .
“If I three bet, then you never shove,” Obrestad said, referring to her pre-flop decision to flat call with big slick.
“Maybe with you, yes,” said Pagano.
“You haven’t been here all day then,” Obrestad returned.
Obrestad now has about 920,000; Pagano has 300,000 approx and Joe Ebanks, who has been in reverse for much of the day, has 117,000. The table now also features Ami Barer, who has 270,000, a stack that includes a couple of the new orange chips, worth 25,000, that have recently been introduced. The purple 500 chip has vanished.
