Home / Uncategorized / EPT Monte Carlo: Hachem hounded out
Joe Hachem’s search for the triple crown will have to continue into another year. The WSOP Main Event champion and WPT champion won’t, unfortunately, be adding victory at the EPT Grand Final to his glittering resume – and he’s got his Team PokerStars Pro colleague Luca Pagano to curse for his exit today.
Pagano moved all in on a board of K-K-J-x-2 and Hachem called with J-2. Pagano had the king and Hachem was ousted.
There are a round 100 players remaining in the tournament, with 12 to go before the money. Short stacks now include Marcel Luske and Sami Kelopuro, the former shipping a load to Sandra Naujoks and the latter suffering at the hands of Roger Hairabedian in a set-over-set encounter.
