The Main Event having reached a final table and concluded play early today, we’ve been lingering about the three remaining tables in the €10,300 High Roller where 18 players currently remain with only 17 spots paying out.
Among the latest to bust was Dmitry Yurasov who had been the only player among the remaining group who has enjoyed significant high-rolling success on Season 10 of the European Poker Tour.
Yurasov final tabled the EPT10 Prague High Roller where he finished third for a nifty €177,500 score. But here he was less fortunate, getting the last of his stack in with A♠ J♣ against the A♣ 10♥ of Jon Spinks then watching with dismay as a ten on the turn rudely abridged his High Roller here.
Meanwhile Nikolay Losev has been holding sway for much the afternoon, sitting atop the counts as he builds his stacks ever higher.
The Russian currently has around 800,000 — more than twice the stack of his nearest challenger, the Swede Kent Lundmark. Others with stacks rivaling Lundmark’s include Spinks and EPT8 Main Event champion Martin Schleich.
WSOP Europe Main Event champion and Global Poker Index European Poker Award Rookie of the Year and Spanish Player of the Year Adrian Mateos Diaz just earned a double-up to get back to an average stack.
And while one Team PokerStars Pro remains alive in the Main Event (Eugene Katchalov), there’s one still in the hunt in the High Roller, too, as Alex Kravchenko continues to battle on the feature table with a below average stack.
