1:25am: 29 make Day 3; Paleta leads the way
Play has concluded here in Rozvadov. Rastislav Paleta ended the day as chip leader with 1,194,000. A full wrap, chips counts and Day 3 seat draw will be up on the blog in due time.

Play resumes at 2pm CET.

1:05am: Last four hands
The remaining four tables will play out four more hands each before bagging up for the night.

12:45pm: Radgen on top
Marc Radgen’s stack has risen to a chip-leading 930,000 after he let an opponent bet into him when he had a good hand.

He was in the small blind and called a 25,000 button raise along with Sven Wendt in the big blind. The flop spread as 2K8 and Wendt led for 45,000 and was only check-called by Radgen. The turn was the 7 and Ragden check-called another 89,000.

Ragden tensed with frustration when Wendt checked behind on the K river as he was sat with KQ for trips. Wendt mucked and dropped to 142,000.

12:25am: Main Event down to 35 players
Level 20 has begun and it’s the last level of the night. Two players busted within the few minutes of the level, meaning just 35 remain.

Here’s the order of the last few eliminations, all of whom received €2,800:

36. Adi Alkalay, Israel
37. Damyan Donchev, Bulgaria
38. Martin Kabrhel, Czech Republic
39. Yan Meiri, Israel

LEVEL UP: BLINDS 6,000-12,000, 2,000

12:15pm: Forty for our homie De Meulder
Don’t worry, there’s been no spillage of beer on King’s Casino glorious floral carpet, it’s just that the last remaining Team PokerStars Pro has busted in 40th place for €2,450.

He had battled a short, or relatively short stack, for a lot of the day but it gave in the end. He had less than 150,000 when he moved all in with 77. Bartosz Szafraniec was on the button and called with AK.

The big blind was tempted as well but open-folded AQ. Good job too as Szafraniec went on to make two pair.

De Meulder downed

Kabrhel’s ride came to an end a short while after. No details of his exit but he was seen casting his eye over the High Roller event currently taking place, so may well parlay his winnings into that. (Edit: Kabrhel has taken a seat in said event).

12am: Eureka Rozvadov one in a million
Just recently the blog was informed that Eureka5 Rozvadov has passed through €1million-mark for payouts. To be precise, €1,006,002.75 has been paid out across all tournaments that attracted 2643 entries.

11:55pm: Kabrhel turns into a bank
Martin Kabrhel doesn’t like giving away chips but two players just withdrew from his stack to see it drop to 245,000.

First up, he raised under the gun with Q6 and called after Michael Weber moved all in for 43,000 from the next seat with A10. The board ran 10835J.

The very next hand, Kabrhel peeled from the big blind after Ercan Atmaca raised to 26,000 from the cutoff. The flop fanned A98 and Atmaca continued for 25,000. Kabrhel check-called before he led for 60,000 on the 3 turn. Atmaca snap shoved for 186,000 and Kabrhel folded some procrastination.

11:40pm Palovic’s return ends with cash
Dag Palovic used to be a regular on the European circuit. The Slovakian’s multiple EPT final tables helped earn him a PokerStars Team Pro contract for a while. Then he disappeared off the scene.

He said he took a break from the game to travel and chill out, this event being the first tournament he’s played since 2012. He thinks his time away from the game has helped him come back with a different approach and outlook. It’s early days but his deep run here has good omens.

He came over to media row just now to speak of his elimination. He got ace-king in versus ace-king and pocket sevens in a main pot worth 650,000. The sevens held and Palovic was out.

11:25pm: Some big stacks from the remaining players
Remigiusz Wyrzykiewicz , Poland – 779,000
Christos Kachrimanidis, Greece – 750,000
Bartosz Ziolkowski, Poland – 700,000
Marek Blasko, Slovakia – 550,000
Josef Gulas, Czech Republic – 515,000
Marc Radgen, Germany – 470,000
Mateusz Rypulak, Poland – 450,000
Hossein Ensan, Germany – 450,000
Michael Huber, Austria – 430,000

LEVEL UP: BLINDS 5,000/10,000, 1,000

11:02pm: Break time
The players are on a 15-minute break. When they return, they’ll play two more levels before finishing for the night.

11pm: Misstep costs Kaylan dearly
Hasan Kaylan had the look of a man who just been dealt a really unlucky turn of events after he busted to Christos Kachrimanidis, who had the look of a man who couldn’t believe the gift he had been given.

The action folded around to Kaylan in the cutoff and he moved all in for a for around 220,000 chips. Kachrimanidis was on the button and made the call.

Kaylan: A7
Kachrimanidis: AK

The board ran QKK37 to make Kachrimanidis trips and helped him up to 720,000, good for a top three stack.

10:50pm: Payouts pending
The payouts are being processed in such a way that access to the results is impossible right now. The powers that be are working on a solution to the payouts page can be updated.

Some of the players who busted post bubble include: defending champion Martin Meciar, Carsten Günther, Paul-Philipp Schulz, Bernd Gleissner, Catalin Pop, Ivan Barczi, Sandor Barcsa, Martin Bartoš, Michal Mrakes, Dimitrios Ballas, Anthony Ghamrawi, Jia Tse, Shakib Hamdam, Petr Jelínek, Bartlomiej Marian Totos, Cornelia Lautenbach, Roman Cieslik, Milan Čička, Vladimír Válek, Manuel Armindo Aurelio, Eugen Fritzler and Michael Murschall.

10:35pm: The river of confusion
A funny hand played out between Aviv Meiri and Josef Gulas just now where both players misread the board on the river. One had thought he’d lost but had actually won; the other thought he’s won but actually lost.

The flop was out as Q105 before all the chips went it. Gulas had 193,000 at that point, around 50,000 less than his opponent.

Meiri: KJ for an open-ended straight draw and back door flush draw.
Gulas: AJ for a flush draw and gutshot straight draw.

The board ran out 4K.

“Yes!” shouted Meiri as he thought his paired king was good for the pot. Gulas had probably just been focussing on his diamond draw and vented his frustration.

Chris De Meulder was the first to notice the mix up and said whilst laughing, “He thinks he won (pointing at Meiri) and he thinks he lost (pointing at Gulas) but they’re both wrong!”

10:15pm: Kabrhel plays the turn like a boss

“Turn!” shouted Martin Kabrhel after he fell behind to Torsten Pischl on the flop.

The latter was short pre fop and moved all in with 36. Kabrhel was on the button with K10 and made the called before said flop came 67Q to pair the German’s six.

The turn came as the 10 and Kabrhel opened up again, “See, I play the turn very well!”

The river came as the A and Kabrhel moved up to 330,000.

Kabrhel never doubts himself

LEVEL UP: BLINDS 4,000/8,000, 1,000

9:55pm: Players flying out of the door
As expected, the rate of eliminations post bubble increased dramatically. Between the bubble bursting and the end of the level around a third of the remaining field was eliminated.

Two of the players to bust in the mayhem were Karel Novak and Michal Polchlopek.

Karel was in mid position and three-bet all in for his last 54,000 after Aviv Meiri had raised to 22,000 from under the gun. Call.

Karel: AK
Meiri: JJ

Karel was drawing thin on the flop, and dead on the turn, as the board rolled out 2J628.

A couple of minutes later, Polchlopek met the same fate with the same hand. He moved all in from mid position for 38,000 and was called by Alisan Holozlu in the small blind.

Polchlopek: AK
Holozlu: A8

The board ran 25289 to make Holozlu two pair.
