If you want the best of all possible main event satellite wins, this weekend is your first chance. The first 2012 Main Event Passports will go out this weekend. After a couple of weeks of qualifying, the Main Event Passport finals run Sunday at 14:30 ET.

By this point, it should be safe to assume you know the PokerStars Main Event Passport. It’s pretty much the hottest ticket in town. Why? Choice. You aren’t forced to play on just one tour. You can use the passport for almost anything you want.

Here are the available tours and festivals:

  • World Series of Poker (WSOP)
  • PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (PCA)
  • European Poker Tour (EPT)
  • Latin American Poker Tour (LAPT)
  • Asia Pacific Poker Tour (APPT)

When you win a Main Event Passport, it’s worth in the neighborhood of $13,000. Even better, it’s good for a main event package to nearly any of the tours and festivals you saw above (some restrictions apply, so see the Frequently Asked Questions for any clarification you might need).

Seriously, you can still in get in this weekend for the first final. PokerStars has cash, FPP, and Steps satellites available for every bankroll. Just look under EVENTS and PASSPORT to start playing today.

While you still have a month to win a Passport, wouldn’t it be nice to be first? Get on it, folks.
