The MicroMillions Marathon kept small stakes players very happy over the last few days. The series concluded with the $22 Main Event, which ran alongside the Sunday Million and the usual tournament schedule. Meanwhile, the top pros were out to play in the High Roller Club.

Here are this weekend’s poker results and highlights:

  • $1 million prize pool in MicroMillions Main Event
  • Rudolph locks up two scores in High Roller Club
  • Arthur Martirosyan and Dominik Nitsche among HRC winners
  • Top ranked Traply takes down Supersonic

Sunday Million and MicroMillions Main Event

The $109 Sunday Million had a prize pool just a touch over its $1 million garauntee. Two of this week’s final tablists gained entry to the event via $11 satellite, significantly boosting the prestige of their scores. They were fifth place “sw8n” from Russia and third place “Ildar Russia”, the latter earning $59,023 for over 5,300x their $11 satellite buy-in.

The final two players made an even split straight down the middle, leaving only the obligatory $10k aside for first place. “jokee_apart” from Norway finished second for $92,345, and “extasyman” – who has at least one WCOOP title to their name – took it down for $102,345.

The MicroMillions Marathon is now on break, with $1 million in the prize pool

The $22 MicroMillions Main Event also kicked off on Sunday, also offering a $1 million prize pool. After making it through over 49,000 entries, “mikki696” from Austria finished second for a total of $43,625. “Shipmopff” from the Netherlands came first and collected $18k in bounties to bring their total for the tournament up to $58,732 – a huge prize for the $22 buy-in level.

Here’s the final table results of the MicroMillions Main Event:

The MicroMillions Main Event final table results

Top pros out to play in the High Roller Club

With the Sunday Million and MicroMillions Main Event on pause, we look to the High Roller Club for the most impressive poker results.

Austrian reg Christian “WATnlos” Rudolph had an excellent weekend, slogging it out in the HRC Sunday Warm-Up to eventually secure fourth place for $7,475, and then taking down the HRC Sunday Marathon for $11,116 after a heads-up deal with UK pro Jaunki “B4NKR0LL3R” Vecino.

The HRC Sunday Warm-Up also happened to present one of the toughest final tables of the night. Niklas “Lena900” Astedt was first off, followed by highly regarded pros like Bruno “Botteonpoker” Botteon (6th), Sam “SamSquid” Grafton (5th), and the aforementioned Rudolph (4th). At the top end of the table, Ole “wizowizo” Schemion of Austria came second, and Arthur “mararthur1” Martirosyan, now one of Russia’s leading players, took down the tourney for $17,814.

A terrifying final table of top pros in the HRC Sunday Warm-Up

All of those names were missing from the final table of the $1,050 Sunday HR, which this week came up a little softer than usual, though still brimming with highly successful players. After all, third place Dzmitry “Colisea” Urbanovich and second place “Grozzorg” both have over $3 million each in online cashes to their name. UK player “13shaun” took down the tourney for a huge $60,579.

Other big winners in the HRC this weekend included; Dominik “Bounatirou” Nitsche, currently ranked second in Germany, who came first in the Fat Sunday for $11,782; “RaiseUpBlind” of Canada, who collected a total of $29,468 in the HRC Sunday Cooldown; and “Daenarys T” of the Netherlands, who beat Botteon heads-up to win $24k in the Sunday Supersonic.

Top ranked “Belabacsi” among Sunday major winners

These are the main highlights from the Sunday majors:

Swedish player “Blom96” (not to be confused with Viktor Blom), had an awesome weekend at the tables, picking up a neat double score with a win in the late edition of the $109 Saturday KO, followed up the next day with a second place finish in the Sunday Warm-Up for $13,150. (Black88 of Russia came first in that one for $17,941).

“babecallme” of Finland, a little known player from what we can see, picked up first place in the $109 Sunday Cooldown, and earned huge bounties to make a total of $27,227.

One of poker’s biggest all-time winners, Peter “Belabacsi” Traply has over $18.5 million in online tournament cashes. The Hungarian player took down the $215 Sunday Supersonic for $20,378.

Also winning big in the Sunday majors this weekend were “CayJay1802” of Canada, who won the $22 Mini Million for $18,547, and “kIkinchO” of Bulgaria, who won the $11 Sunday Storm for $15,487.
