One hundred ninety-two players have whittled down to just 10 as the final table is set for Event 1 of the 2012 Asia Championship of Poker (ACOP).

Leading the remaining field in theHKD $10,000 Deepstack Championship is Iqbal Ahmed from the United Kingdom with 551,000.

Taiwan’s Raymond Wu (481,000) holds the next biggest stack and fellow Team PokerStars Pro Vivian Im enters her second final table of the year with 141,000.

The 2012 ACOP takes place from Oct. 26 to Nov. 11

Sunday’s Day 2 began with 77 runners including 5 Top Ten players on the Asia Player of the Year (APOY) rankings. However, No. 2 Nicky Jin , No. 5 Celina Lin, No. 6 Jennette “Jay” Tan, and No. 9 Justin Chan all failed to cash.

Only Japan’s Yosuke Sekiya made the money but the No. 1 ranked player was eliminated in 12th place meaning he wasn’t able to add more APOY points to pad his lead.

Overnight chip leader Kitty Kuo entered Day 2 with the only 6-figure chip stack of 202,300 but just missed a place on the final table as she ended her day coming in 11th.

The Deepstack Championship will pays out the Top 22 players for a share of the HKD $1,713,408 prize money and the eventual winner will take home nearly HKD $420,000.

The Final Table for Event 1 begins Monday at 4:10pm local time.
