Everything about Micro Millions is bigger — except, of course, the buy-in. The latest renewal of this tournament series, the sixth, got under way on Friday night and already 43 tournaments are in the books.
That means a staggering 412,730 entries already, prize pools of $1,778,039 and first prizes of nearly $175K. And if you’d bought into everything once, it would only have cost you $172.70.
That’s the beauty of MicroMillions. It’s a series packed with all the games and variants one might hope for, but at a fraction of the cost.
We’ll dip into Micro Millions over the next couple of weeks to bring you all the latest news and stats. Here’s what happened over the opening weekend:

COUNTRIES LEADER BOARD
Each of the 43 tournaments so far has been won by a different player, which is to say we haven’t had a double champion yet. However, only 15 countries are on the countries leader board, with Russians claiming 10 of the available titles to lead the way. Here’s where all the titles have been going:
10 titles – Russia
9 – Brazil
4 – Canada
3 – Greece, Romania
2 – Belgium, Czech Republic, Netherlands, Ukraine
1 – Lithuania, Mongolia, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden
Notable by their absence: the UK and Germany.
