Welcome to Day 2 of the PokerStars Festival London Main Event. A total of 944 entries (778 uniques and 166 re-entries) took part in the tournament over four starting flights and 314 have advanced to Day 2. The £400,000 guarantee has been well and truly smashed and the top 183 players will take home a share of the £824,112 prize pool.

The winner of the PokerStars Festival London Main Event is looking at a pretty pay day worth £112,720, while a min-cash is worth £1,370. You can check out the entire payout structure here.

Mitchell is the current chip leader

In pole position heading into Day 2 is James Mitchell. The 2010 Irish Open winner carries a stack of 373,600 (155 big blinds) into level 13. There are plenty of notables still left in including Team PokerStars Pro’s Luca Pagano (135,700), Felipe Ramos (85,800) and Liv Boeree (32,700). EPT champions like Adrian Mateos (185,200), UKIPT champions like Ludovic Geilich (104,600), former November Niners like James Akenehad (170,900) and a man who didn’t make the WSOP November Nine but made plenty of headlines. Yes Will Kassouf plays on with a decent stack of 178,200.

Ramos is one of the many big names left in

On Day 2 the levels have been bumped up to 60 minutes in length and the plan today is to play 10 of them. That means we’ll burst the bubble and then some, but reaching the final table is unlikely.
