Feature table – PKO Sunday Million

This weekend’s Sunday Million was a special edition PKO format as part of the Bounty Builder Series. The prize pool reached $1.03M from10,359 entries.

Team Pro’s Tom “MajinBoob” Hayward sat in eighth place at the break, but crashed out in 39th shortly after play resumed. in eighth place.

By the time the final table came, “claire388” was chip lead. However, inexperience showed and at times the Canadian player’s chip stack proved as volatile as Bitcoin. That’s not a diss to claire388, who has only had one prior result on PokerStars, in a $1.10 SNG. Imagine your second ever cash was worth tens of thousands! Here was the underdog hero story waiting to happen.

Play at the final table started slow, with noone willing to bust first. Not even “kiterpro” – who was left with just two big blinds after losing a huge pot to “andy123460” but clawed it back to avoid immediate elimination.

When it came to the inevitable breaking point, “Juuna” of Finland was first out, followed quickly by “LUMBAGO FOREVER” of Malta, then “00Beano of the UK – who’s $11k score for seventh doesn’t seem so bad when you consider they gained entry via $5.50 satellite.

Next up came a double elimination delivered by “perfect guim” of Brazil – who took out both kiterpro, as well as the people’s champion claire388 in one hand.

By this point, perfect guim had taken a huge chip lead, and this is how it would remain for the rest of the final table. “krashinsky” and “salpadeine” were next to go in fourth and third, respectively, and both fell to perfect guim.

Only andy123460 remained and, with only a fraction of perfect guim’s stack in front, there would have to be a miracle for the tables to turn. No miracle came. perfect guim claimed the final bounty and took down the PKO Sunday Million for a total of $91,313.
