Ring up a WSOPC win for Team Pro Marcin Horecki
1 Minute Read
Team PokerStars Pro Marcin Horecki was due for a win in the Czech Republic. Over the course of the last few months, he’d monied in that country five times. He’d made three final tables. He had not, however, booked a win.
That changed yesterday when Horecki picked up a WSOP Circuit ring at the King’s Casino in Rozvadov.
Horecki was one of 49 people who entered the €300 Stud-8 event, and he was the only one who finished with chips. Horecki beat Finland’s Santeri Valikoski heads-up to win the title, €5,136, and the Circuit ring.
Horecki remains one of Poland’s top poker players, which is harder to do that you might expect. Horecki sits fourth on Poland’s all-time money list behind high roller Dzmitry Urbanovich, PCA winner Dominik Panka, and EPT Barcelona champion Sebastian Malec. It’s probably worth noting that one decent score could move Horecki up to the the #3 spot. We’ll keep an eye on his progress as the WSOPC at King’s Casino continues.
In the meantime, congrats to Marcin on picking up his first WSOPC ring.
