Coming into a game like the Spring Championship of Online Poker’s Event #51-H No Limit Omaha Hi/Lo it would be best to pack adequate provisions. Not the standard sugar-infused caffeine bomb wrapped in aluminum or soothing classical music in the background, but rather enough buy-ins to take a beat or two during the early goings. Those buy-ins at this level would not come cheap at $2,100 a piece but for the last four players standing after day two it was a great return on investment.

Vladimir ‘vovtroy’ Troyanovskiy spent the max three re-entries taking away $34K, dynoalot used a second bullet and earned $52K.

The final two both reached into their pockets for two re-entries each in order to reach heads-up play. RunGodlike put up a great fight earning $69K, but generdir would claim the Event #51-H title and $100,280.00.

Read on below for all the flips one can handle while playing for six-figures.

Day one would end with 13 survivors of which showed the battle scars of playing this high-variance game. Nine of the 13 used multiple bullets to ensure their place in day two.

That meant 111 players and their extra funds would be used to bankroll the tidy $100K sitting up top. Among those narrowly missing out, Team PokerStars player and noted lover of all-games with four cards, Adrienne “talonchick” Rowsome who took away $3,924.00 in 24th place. Viktor “Isildur1” Blom used up all three re-entries cashing in 22nd for the same amount thus adding to his Overall Player of the Series lead.

Two-time SCOOP and 2016 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure Main Event champ Mike “SirWatts” Watson would fall at 16th place ($5,014.00). Brian “tsarrast” Rast took away the World Series of Poker $50K Players Championship, and already has a final table in this series (Event #38-H) but taking down his first SCOOP title would need to wait until today’s $28 million in guarantees after missing out on day two in 14th place ($5,014.00).

Who was left after day one? It looked like a possible SCOOP Omaha final table reunion for some players. Day one chip leader dynoalot has already been to two Omaha final tables in this series (Event #22-H – eighth place and Event #48-H – fourth place). But, the winner of Event #48-H, Antonio7, was also still in the hunt during day two, third in chips.

Fourth chips, Vladimir ‘vovtroy’ Troyanovskiy already has a World Championship of Online Poker title in Omaha (2015 – Event #35) and will be shooting for a second SCOOP title (2014 – Event #12-H).

There would be not be an Event #48-H reunion after all as Antonio7 was not able to squeeze by the flopped two pair of hurrrrican3, finishing in 10th place ($7.630.00).

While Antonio7 was not heading to another SCOOP final table, dynoalot would be hitting up a third Omaha final table after hurrrrican3 took out João Mathias “joaoMathias” Baumgarten on the final table bubble, starting the final six below:

Seat 1: dynoalot (267056 in chips)
Seat 2: hurrrrican3 (413263 in chips)
Seat 3: Vladimir ‘vovtroy’ Troyanovskiy (433661 in chips)
Seat 4: RunGodlike (153885 in chips)
Seat 5: DSmunichlife (227981 in chips)
Seat 6: generdir (684154 in chips)

Despite the multitude of shoves and calls, it would take nearly an hour and half for the first elimination. RunGodlike clung to a short-stack like a champ and watched DSmunichlife and hurrrrican3 get it all-in post-flop 2â™  10♥ 5â™  . Hurrrrican3 scored three final tables in last year’s SCOOP series, and another one in this year’s Event #2-H still chasing the elusive win. The SCOOP would need to wait as hurrrrican3’s 8♥ 2♦ 4♣ 3♦ would fail to catch up to DSmunichlife’s A♣ 5♦ 10â™  3♣ flopped two pair on the 9♥ turn nor Q♥ river to earn $17,876.00 in sixth place.

If someone told me the NLO8 tournament ending would be a grind, I would sooner believe in getting a tan outdoors in Minnesota in January. Another hour and a half would pass as generdir held nearly 40% of the chips in play when the chip leader shoved over a limping DSmunichlife. A second 2017 SCOOP final table (Event #9-H) for DSmunichlife attempted to turn things around making the call all-in with aces A♦ 8â™  Q♥ A♣ . However, generdir’s big stack shove with 9â™  Q♣ 3♦ 4♣ would river a flush and the better low 5♣ Q♦ 2♥ 7♣ 3♣ shipping $26,160.00 to DSmunichlife in fifth place.

Nearly a half hour later Vladimir ‘vovtroy’ Troyanovskiy’s battle with a shorten stack and shot at a second SCOOP title would come to an end. RunGodlike, dynoalot, and Troyanovskiy were in defense mode against generdir now holding 57% of the chips in play and constantly bashing the table with shoves for their tournament life. Troyanovskiy would shove for 131K as it folded around to the day one chip leader dynoalot who snap-called from the big blind with aces 6♦ 2â™  A♥ A♣ . Troyanovskiy needed a little help or some diamond with 4â™  J♣ A♦ 3♦ . The lack of a low and diamonds 7♥ 10♥ 5â™  5♣ 9♣ ended Troyanovskiy’s run in fourth place.

At this time RunGodlike peeped a little a more into the chat box to inquire about a chop. Dynoalot was down but generdir felt there was plenty of play left and declined the invite.

Ten minutes later dynoalot, trying to finally break through and walk away from the spotlight of a SCOOP final table with a victory in hand, would be all-in pre-flop with a decent low hand 2♣ A♠ J♣ 6♥ . RunGodlike covered and gave action with aces A♣ 9♠ 7♥ A♥ . Dynoalot would miss a saving low on the river 2♦ 10♠ Q♠ 8♦ 9♦ but gained yet another big cash in third place ($52,320.00).

RunGodlike took another couple of swipes at an olive branch but generdir still did not seem interested as Generdir would start with a 1.37 million to 803K chip leader with blinds at 6K/12K ante 1.5K. A great day of multi-tabling for RunGodlike, trying to take down this title and the final table of the 2-7 Triple Draw Event #52-H at the same time.

RunGodlike nudged after taking the chip lead away “so, keep flipping? or look at numbers?” but got nothing but hand recaps in the chat box as play moved further into the fifth hour.

A few minutes after the hourly break generdir would seize the chip lead back after turning trip tens against RunGodlike’s jacks. Now holding a 1.8 million to 380K lead, generdir went full bulls on parade mode and shoved at every hand, until RunGodlike had enough five hands later and made a stand. Holding A♦ J♦ 9♣ 6♥ RunGodlike needed catch a piece as generdir turned over queens Q♦ 8♣ 2â™  Q♣ . Queen on the flop came with a couple of diamonds and low cards giving RunGodlike a great chance at a scoop. But, the turn and river blanked 5♦ 7♦ Q♥ K♣ A♣ shipping $100,280.00 and the Event #51-H to generdir!
