LEX VELDHUIS WINS STADIUM SERIES TITLE ($96K)
Twitch poker doesnât get more exciting than tuning in to the biggest poker streamer of them all and watching them go all the way to win just shy of six-figures and a title in the inaugural Stadium Series.
Thatâs exactly what many of us did on Sunday through Monday.
Lex navigated his way through a field of 243 entries to win the $2,100 buy-in Heat 16, earning himself $96,143 (his largest ever score on stream).
As it was a $2K, this was no easy feat. Lex went to battle with some of the best in the world including Mike âSirWattsâ Watson (runner up), Ivan âNegriinâ Luca (fifth) and Pablo âpabritzâ Brito Silva (sixth).
Hereâs the moment he took it down.
fucking goose bumps. LFG @LexVeldhuis insaaaaaaaaaane

If that wasnât enough, Lex would also go on to finish second in the $530 Bounty Builder High Roller for an additional $21K.
FINTAN ALSO COMES CLOSE TO A TITLE
Having won his first Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP) title just a couple of months back, Fintan âeasywithacesâ Hand almost added a Stadium Series trophy to his cabinet Wednesday night.
Fintan would ultimately finish in third place in Heat 18-H: $2,100, $500K Gtd, good for $57K and his second-largest career score to date.
The event started about as well as it could have, with Fintan scoring an early double up.

The sickest way to make Day 2.
I was down to 1 ante in the $215 Stadium Series 16-M after getting crushed with 6 minutes left before Day 2, but we spun it up, this was the last hand of Day 1! Cashed for $1700 with $73,000 for 1st. Im sitting 23/26 @PokerStars pic.twitter.com/jR6R4DMRaO

ONES TO WATCH
Anthony âHookzâ Kalanj – www.twitch.tv/anthonykala
A little more than 18 months ago, Anthony âHookzâ Kalanj was the only Canadian to make the final table of the Sunday Million, earning $37,964.23 for fifth place. An unfortunate ending, but at least he now has a Stadium Series title to make up for it.
Kalanj won the $109 buy-in Stadium Series Weekly Final this week, rising from seventh in chips overnight to claim the title.
Whatâs even better is that Kalanj has recently taken to streaming his poker exploits live on Twitch, which meant viewers got to watch it all. That included the part when Kalanj agreed a heads-up against âCoolerAHAHâ of Malta before the Canadian sealed the deal. âChamp is here!â he said. Kalanj banked $175,662.60, plus a $5,200 buy-in to the Stadium Series Grand Final. CoolerAHAH won $160,662.60.
Cash4_king – www.twitch.tv/cash4king
We were introduced to Cash4_kingâs stream this week by another streamer who has made an appearance in this blog, RichyRob.
Heading to the South Coast of England where you will find @cash4_king with his infectious laugh and often lovable goofy antics playing the micros.
His favourite hand is Jack Two… which sometimes he takes too far as this clip of a $100 Spin Max shows.https://t.co/BziUyA0tTL

With his charity streams and infectious laugh, he’s well worth a follow.
