FINLAND’S “tikidiii” WINS SUNDAY MILLION FOR $163K
As you can see from our weekend headlines above, it was a great weekend for Fins (both players from Finland, and Fintan Hand).
Finland’s “tikidiii” took down the biggest weekly tournament with a win in the $215 SUNDAY MILLION. There were 6,058 runners this week, creating $1.21 million prize pool and a first place prize of $163,574. “tikidiii” managed to take it down outright with no deal; hardly surprising when you see who else made the top three.
“4_VaNyA_4” from Moldova finished runner-up for $114,788, but all three-handed all eyes were surely on Sweden’s Niklas “Lena900” Åstedt (more on him later). He’d bank $80,555 for third.
FINTAN “easywithaces” HAND WINS SUNDAY MARATHON ($17K)
What a week it’s been for Team Online’s Fintan “easywithaces” Hand. Last Sunday he took down the Hotter $22 for $8K, then followed that up on Wednesday with a win in the $109 Battle Royale for another $8K. Thursday morning he was back it, taking down the Big $82 for almost $2K, before settling in for a long grind yesterday.
Fintan Hand
When it was all over, Hand had emerged victorious in the $55 Sunday Marathon for $17,162. He’d outlasted 2,684 players over the course of 15 hours, giving Hand his fourth title in a week.

BIG WEEKEND FOR WORLD NO.1 NIKLAS “Lena900” ÅSTEDT
Swedish crusher Niklas “Lena900” Åstedt has been a fixture at the top of the online tournament rankings throughout 2018. This weekend he showed why.
Niklas “Lena900” Astedt
Not only did Åstedt almost take down the SUNDAY MILLION (finishing third for $80K), he also won Sunday’s Bounty Builder $215 for $34K. On Saturday, he also won a High Roller Club event (the $1,050 Saturday KO [Progressive KO]) for $14,517.
Throw in a fifth-place finish in the High Roller Club: $530 Daily Supersonic [6-Max, Hyper-Turbo] for $5,495 and that’s a very impressive weekend, even for “Lena900”.

Igor Kurganov enjoyed a fourth-place finish in the $2,100 Sunday HR for $25,654, while Andre Akkari finished fifth in the $530 Sunday 500 for $10,546.
