Sunday Million
As Jason Kirk reported this week, sometimes poker is about being in the right place at the right time. That might well have applied to Ymobad of the UK who won the Sunday Million this week, picking up a first prize of $136,196 after a heads up deal with jacu131 of Poland. It proved to be a volatile final table, which you can read about by clicking here.

EPT Malta
After all the anticipation the EPT Malta festival came to an end this weekend when Aliaksei Boika of Belarus won the Main Event at the Portomaso Casino, beating Swedish amateur Mats Karlsson in a final table in which Karlsson, now living in Malta, looked impossible to beat. Boika proved that wrong, and in convincing style.
Boika’s win was the highlight, and you can read Howard Swains’ report on that win on the Blog. But it was one of many big wins over the ten days of action, which you can find details of in our festival coverage.
Next stop for the tour is Prague in December, which will also be the last stop before the EPT becomes the PokerStars Championship.
That wraps up another weekend of results and news on PokerStars. As always send your questions and comments to us on Twitter: @PokerStarsBlog.
