Spin & Go Promotion FAQ
Spin & Go Tournaments FAQ
Spin & Go’s are fast-paced, 3-Max Hyper-Turbo Sit & Go tournaments, featuring 500 chip starting stacks. Buy-ins range from $1 to $60 and each tournament has a randomly drawn prize pool that will award between two and 3,000 times your buy-in.
Try out our new fast-paced format from the Spin & Go tab available in both the PokerStars desktop client and mobile app. To find out more about Spin & Go format, please visit the Spin & Go page.
You will find the Spin & Go’s in the PokerStars client and mobile app. To get started, go to the Spin & Go tab, select your buy-in and the number of simultaneous tournaments you want to play, and then click the ‘Register’ button. It’s that easy!
As soon as three players register for your Spin & Go tournament, there will be a random draw to decide how big the tournament prize pool will be. The spinner in the centre of the table will display the winner’s prize. Read more here about the prize pool multiplier, and frequency of each prize.
The majority of the Spin and Go’s have a ‘Winner Takes All’ format except for when your Spin & Go hits one of the three highest prize tiers. In these tournaments the second and third place finishers also receive 10% of the first-place prize.
Please make sure you are using the latest version of the PokerStars client/mobile app to avoid any possible issues while playing Spin & Go’s. If you are not using the latest version of our software you may not be able to see the Spin & Go tab.

Spin & Go Daily Challenges FAQ
There are simple Challenges available each day from February 2-15. Each day at 00:00 ET you will be presented with a Challenge which is to play five Spin & Go’s with a real money buy-in. If you complete the Challenge you will receive a $10,000 All-in Shootout ticket which can be used the following day.
If you complete seven or more Spin & Go Daily Challenges you will earn an entry into the $100,000 Bonus All-in Shootout.
- Open your Challenges window in the PokerStars client or Mobile app.
- Hit ‘Start’ on an available Daily Challenge to have your progress measured. Keep in mind that you need to opt-in for each of the Spin & Go Daily Challenges by hitting ‘Start’ BEFORE you complete it, to have your progress measured and get the reward.
- When you have started and completed your Daily Challenge you will receive your ticket reward. The ticket reward will usually be credited to your account within two hours of completing a Challenge, but may take a few hours, so please be patient.
- Use your ticket to manually register for one of the two $10,000 All-in Shootouts running the following day at 08:47 ET and 11:47 ET. First prize in each $10,000 All-in Shootout is $1,000.
- Complete seven or more of the 14 Spin & Go Daily Challenges on offer, and you’ll be automatically entered into the special $100,000 Bonus All-in Shootout on February 16, at 12:47 ET. $100,000 in cash prizes will be awarded, including $10,000 for the winner.

When you have reached your Challenge target you will be automatically registered to the special $100,000 Bonus Challenge All-in Shootout on February 16 at 12:47 ET, with $10,000 for the winner. There is a cap of 60,000 players for this tournament, so make sure you complete your Challenges early to secure your seat. Note that it is not possible to unregister from the $100,000 Bonus Challenge All-in Shootout. If the Bonus All-in Shootout reaches the cap, the players that can’t take part will receive a $1 Spin & Go good will ticket by 23:59 ET, February 20. This only applies if the All-in Shootout reaches the cap.
Unfortunately, if you forgot to opt-in before completing your Daily Challenge, it will not count and you are not eligible for the prize. You need to ‘Start’ each Challenge before you complete it to have any progress measured and to receive your reward. Go to your personal Challenges window to ‘Start’ your Challenge and then complete it. You have until 23:59 ET each day to complete your Challenge.
If you forget to ‘Start’ your Bonus Challenge there is no need to worry, as PokerStars will automatically start this for you if you forget to opt-in.
Yes, progress of your Challenge will be listed in your personal Challenges window as either ‘In Progress’ or ‘Completed’. After you complete your Challenge, it will move from the ‘Live’ tab to the ‘Completed’ tab in your Challenges window, where you can also see the status of your ticket reward. If your ticket is still being processed, your challenge will have ‘Ticket is pending’ message. Once you receive your ticket, this will be noted with ‘Ticket is credited’ in the same challenges window.
In your PokerStars client. Location of the Challenges menu depends on which device you are using:
PokerStars PS6 desktop users: Log-in to the PokerStars client and choose ‘Challenges’ from the top menu bar.
PokerStars PS7 desktop users: Log-in to the PokerStars client and choose ‘Challenges’ from the right hand side menu sidebar. Learn more about our new PS7 software here.
iOS devices: Log-in to the PokerStars app and press the ‘More’ menu at the bottom of your screen. Choose ‘Challenges’ from the menu.
Android™ devices: Log-in to the PokerStars app and access the extended menu on your Android™ device. Choose ‘Challenges’ from the subsequent options.
If you go to your 'Completed' tab in the Challenges window, you will be able to see the status of your ticket. Normally, your ticket will be credited to your account within two hours of you completing your Challenge, but in some cases it may take a few additional hours, so please be patient. Note that the Bonus Challenge won’t issue tickets; you will be automatically registered for the corresponding All-in Shootout so please check the tournament lobby.
In All-in Shootouts, you don’t need to be present to be in with a chance of winning, as all players who have registered in advance will be all-in every hand until there’s a winner. You do however need to manually register for the All-in Shootout using your ticket. If you do not register using your ticket, your ticket will be forfeited. Please Note: This doesn’t apply for the Bonus Challenge All-in Shootout as players completing the Bonus Challenge will be automatically registered into the All-in Shootout. Please note there is no late registration for All-in Shootouts.
Note that there is a cap of 60,000 players for each All-In Shootout, and seats are available on a first come, first served basis. So if your All-In Shootout tourney of choice is already full, please select to register for the other corresponding All-in Shootout. If the $100,000 Bonus Challenge All-in Shootout is full then players that are unable to secure a seat will get a good will compensation of a $1 Spin & Go ticket.
All-in Shootout tickets are non-transferable, non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash, T$, or other tickets.
You cannot transfer your ticket to another day. You can only use your ticket to register in the corresponding All-in Shootout. Unused ticket will be forfeited.
The All-in Shootouts are played the day after the Challenge and you can choose to register to one of the corresponding All-in Shootouts on offer, either to the one played at 08:47 ET or the one played at 11:47 ET, but you cannot register to both. The Bonus Challenge All-in Shootout will be played on February 16 at 12:47 ET.
Each $10,000 All-in Shootout has a prize pool of $10,000 in cash and awards $1,000 to the winner. The special Bonus All-in Shootout on February 16 at 12:47 ET has a $100,000 prize pool and awards $10,000 for the winner.
There are several factors to consider if your Challenge isn’t completed:
- Please note that Challenges require you to play Spin & Go’s, not Sit & Go’s. Make sure that you play the correct tournament format. You can check this by requesting your Tournament History in the client from the ‘Requests’ Menu.
- Keep in mind that you need to opt-in for each Spin & Go Daily Challenge by hitting ‘Start’ BEFORE you complete it to have your progress measured and get the reward.
- Please make sure you have completed the Challenge within the required time frame. All Daily Challenges must be completed before 23:59 ET (ET is server time). Please refer to your client Time Zone Settings.
