Beat The Clock and Week-long Challenges

Beat The Clock Challenges

Beat the clock by winning 10 cash game hands of Stud or Draw in one hour, and you’ll automatically be registered to an All-in Shootout held the following day at 15:00 ET, where $3,000 will be given away.

You can start the Challenge once per day between 00:00 and 23:00 ET, by opening your Challenge window and clicking ‘Start’ on the Beat The Clock Challenge. Once you click ‘Start’ you will have one hour (60 minutes) to complete the Challenge.

Please Note: Stud Hi/Lo hands, tournament hands, hands played at Heads-Up tables or hands won before ‘Starting’ your Challenge will not count towards your Challenge progress.

Week-long Challenges

There are four week-long Challenges taking place from May 25-31. You can opt-in to any or all of them by heading to your Challenge window and clicking ‘Start’ next to each Challenge, which are as follows:

  • Win 25 cash game hands of 7 Card Stud
  • Win 25 cash game hands of Razz
  • Win 25 cash game hands playing Draw games (all Draw games are included)
  • Play 100 cash game hands of 7 Card Stud Hi/Lo

For each Challenge you complete, you will be automatically registered to a corresponding $7,500 All-in Shootout on June 1.

Please Note: Tournament hands, hands played at Heads-Up tables or hands played before ‘Starting’ your Challenge, will not count towards your Challenge progress.

Cash Game Leader Boards

Over $20,000 in cash prizes will be given away across four separate Leader Boards, each awarding more than $5,000 in prizes to 150 players. The Leader Boards and criteria are as follows:

  • 7 Card Stud - Number of raked hands won
  • Razz - Number of raked hands won
  • Draw - Number of raked hands won (includes all Draw games)
  • Stud Hi/Lo - Number of raked hands played

Android™ devices: Log-in to the Pokerstars app and access the extended menu on your Android™ device, then choose ‘Leader Boards’.

Weekly Tournaments - win added prizes!

On Saturday, May 30 and Sunday, May 31, the weekly Stud and Draw tournaments will award over $7,500 in added cash prizes. In each of the seven tourneys (see below), two tables will be chosen at random after 10 minutes of play, with each player at a selected table instantly receiving $100 cash. Prizes will be announced via table messaging, with no need to pause the tournament. Winners will also receive a confirmation email.

The weekly tournaments run at the following times, each with a buy-in of $82:

  • Stud Hi/Lo - Saturday 16:15 ET
  • FL Badugi - Sunday 10:00 ET
  • Razz - Sunday 10:30 ET
  • 7 Card Stud - Sunday 11:30 ET
  • NL Single Draw 2-7 - Sunday 12:15 ET
  • PL 5 Card Draw - Sunday 13:30 ET
  • FL Triple Draw 2-7 - Sunday 15:15 ET

Happy Hours - earn extra VPPs and FPPs!

During Stud and Draw Week you can earn up to 50% more VIP Player Points (VPPs) and Frequent Player Points (FPPs) playing Stud and Draw cash games and tournaments during special Happy Hours.

Happy Hours run at the following times, from May 25-31:

  • 04:00-05:00 ET
  • 12:00-13:00 ET
  • 20:00-21:00 ET

Please Note: Heads-Up Sit & Go’s and cash games will award 30% extra VPPs and FPPs during Stud and Draw Week Happy Hours. All Sit & Go’s and scheduled tournaments eligible for the Happy Hours promotion are marked with a Happy Hours icon. Only tourneys that start during the Happy Hour will award the extra points - the end time of the tournament is not considered.
