Tyler Frost

Tyler Frost graduated from the University of British Columbia in 2009 with a major in Political Science and a minor in Economics. He also worked a series of jobs during his studies, including construction and landscaping. His introduction to poker is a familiar one: he found the game via friends at college, caught the bug, got good and hasn’t looked back since.

He’s now a cash game specialist, playing a range of different levels online at PokerStars, with an impressive win rate that’s seen him fast become a force to be reckoned with. His focus on ring games means he’s yet to make a real impact on the tournament scene, with his best result so far coming in the shape of a 2nd place finish in a $33 tourney. But don’t bet against him taking down a huge score in one of the big MTT’s in the not too distant future.

When is isn’t playing online at the world’s largest poker site, Tyler keeps active by going to the gym, and playing sports like tennis, golf and wakeboarding in the summer, and snowboarding and hockey during the winter months. He also enjoys camping, travel, watching movies and hanging out with family and friends. Tyler says that being part of poker’s elite team of online players makes the thousands of hands he’s grinded to study the game and master his craft worth it. He’s now looking to take his game to the next level by logging even more hands and learning from the other pros on the roster. Tyler Frost is a member of Team PokerStars Online, and you can find him playing under the screen name ‘frosty012’.
